Through creating health education materials in the form of a fact sheet for the target audience of Peaceful Paths, I developed communication tools that helped to convey the center’s central information about setting healthy boundaries and injury prevention.

Art-Based Intervention, UF Health Outpatient Dialysis Clinic
In designing and implementing a five-week art-based pilot intervention at an outpatient dialysis clinic, I aimed to engage patients through art activities to enhance their well-being and improve clinical outcomes. This intervention was carefully evaluated for its effectiveness in increasing patient engagement and positive emotional responses, which are crucial in such settings.

Program/Project Plan for Oversight of Local Resource Centers
As a Prevention Consultant for Partnership for Strong Families, I oversee the development of two resource centers in East Gainesville and Micanopy, FL, designated by the Children’s Trust of Alachua County. This project involved initial meetings that helped me devise a detailed project plan. This plan included assessing community needs, strengths, and readiness, hiring the right staff, and ultimately launching and sustaining the operations of each resource center.

Art-Based Community Engaged Initiative to Positively Impact Social Cohesion
In response to a Request for Proposals for a Mellon Foundation-funded grant offered by SPARC352, a branch of the UF Center for Arts, Migration, and Entrepreneurship, I collaborated with professionals from diverse disciplines to develop a workshop series for the historically Black community of Porters Quarters in Gainesville, FL.

Comprehensive Website and Toolkit Bring Awareness to the Impacts of Childhood Toxic Stress
In my Public Health Program Planning and Evaluation course, I contributed to a group project by developing a web page and a comprehensive parent resource toolkit focused on the prevention of childhood toxic stress. This toolkit was designed to promote child wellbeing by emphasizing the importance of a safe and nurturing environment, free from the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
