Program/Project Plan for Oversight of  Local Resource Centers

As a Prevention Consultant for Partnership for Strong Families, I oversee the development of two resource centers in East Gainesville and Micanopy, FL, designated by the Children’s Trust of Alachua County. This project involved initial meetings that helped me devise a detailed project plan. This plan included assessing community needs, strengths, and readiness, hiring the right staff, and ultimately launching and sustaining the operations of each resource center.

Comprehensive Website and Toolkit Bring Awareness to the Impacts of Childhood Toxic Stress

In my Public Health Program Planning and Evaluation course, I contributed to a group project by developing a web page and a comprehensive parent resource toolkit focused on the prevention of childhood toxic stress. This toolkit was designed to promote child wellbeing by emphasizing the importance of a safe and nurturing environment, free from the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
